Designer, consultant, teacher, researcher, activist... over 10 years of professional and academic experience.
After obtaining my degree and praxis license from the Tecnológico de Costa Rica School of Architecture and Urbanism in 2008, I spent a season in Spain under the Environmental Studies and Sustainable Architecture Masters programme from Madrid Polytechnic University UPM. Throughout my student years, I got involved in several professional and academic positions both in the public and private sectors.
In time, this combination of experiences determined a dual oriented career which combines a passionate approach to pedagogy and research as well as practical entrepreneurship.
Today, I run a self-founded, young and collaborative consultancy/contracting firm, which focuses on sustainable design and Building Performance Analysis services for other AEC professionals and state institutions.
My current interests include exploring the reach of BIM-GIS integration as well as new parametric composition/syntax for a better performing, and more sustainable built environment.
